This small island is preserved and protected by the authorities against poaching; there is no landing to enter the island. However, visitors can observe from a boat—engine off—that drifts along the side.

Number 63 Beach is in the vicinity of Corriverton (mouth of the Corentyne River) and is the most popular beach in Berbice; some will claim it’s the most popular in the country.
